Job Description:

Billing Engineer – Job Description (3–5 Years Experience)
Position: Billing Engineer / Senior Billing Engineer
Experience: 3–5 Years
Industry: Real Estate / Construction
Location: Ahmedabad (Project Site)
Role Objective: Responsible for preparation, verification, and certification of RA bills and
final bills for contractors/sub-contractors. Handling quantity verification, BOQ analysis,
reconciliation, contract billing, and coordination with site and HO teams for smooth billing
and payment processes.
Key Responsibilities
QS & Billing
 Preparation, checking, and certification of RA bills and final bills.
 Verification of work quantities as per drawings, BOQ, and contract conditions.
 Quantity take-off for civil activities including concrete, shuttering, reinforcement
steel, masonry, high end finishing works, etc.
 Preparation and review of Bar Bending Schedule (BBS).
 Review and reconciliation of materials such as cement, steel, RMC, structural steel,
and MEP-related items.
 Preparation and verification of measurement sheets and billing abstracts.
 Invoice verification and processing as per work order/contract terms.
 Preparation and tracking of variation statements and extra item claims.
 Finalization and closure of contractor accounts and final bills.
Contract Administration
 Review of tender BOQ items and contract documents.
 Handling change orders, amendments, deviations, and variation claims.
 Coordination with contractors/sub-contractors regarding billing discrepancies and
claim settlements.
 Support in preparation of contractual correspondences, observation letters, and
billing-related documentation.
 Monitoring contractual obligations and supporting claim evaluations.
Costing & Reconciliation
 Preparation of comparative statements and rate analysis.
 Monitoring project quantities against budgeted BOQ quantities.
 Tracking reconciliation statements for major materials.
 Support in cost control and identification of quantity/cost variances.

ERP & Documentation
 Raising PR/PO/WO requests and service entries in ERP.
 Maintaining billing trackers, reconciliation trackers, payment status reports, and cash
flow updates.
 Coordination with procurement, accounts, planning, QA/QC, and execution teams
for billing approvals and payment processing.
Required Skills
 Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, and billing procedures.
 Good understanding of civil drawings and contract documents.
 Experience in contractor billing, reconciliation, and final bill settlement.
 Knowledge of ERP(Farvision)/MS Excel/AutoCAD.
 Good communication and coordination skills.
 Ability to work independently at project/site level.
Qualification
 B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Preferred Candidate Profile
 Experience in high-rise residential/commercial or Villa projects preferred.
 Exposure to contractor billing and QS activities at site level.
 Ability to handle multiple contractors and billing cycles efficiently.
 Experience of working in Farvision will be preferred.
