Job Description:

We are looking for a smart and detail-oriented Tender Executive with hands-on experience in handling Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal operations and tender documentation. The candidate will be responsible for managing tender participation, bid submissions, documentation, order processing, and coordination with government departments and internal teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GeM portal workflows, tender preparation, compliance documentation, and online bidding processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end tendering process on the Government e Marketplace (GeM Portal).
  • Search and identify relevant tenders as per company products/services.
  • Prepare and submit bids, quotations, and tender documents within deadlines.
  • Handle GeM bid participation, reverse auction, and order processing activities.
  • Upload product catalogs, pricing, specifications, and compliance documents on GeM portal.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for technical specifications, pricing approvals, and documentation.
  • Maintain records of submitted tenders, approvals, and order status.
  • Follow up with government departments/customers regarding tender status, payments, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with tender requirements, EMD, BOQ, technical documents, and eligibility criteria.
  • Monitor bid deadlines, corrigendum updates, and tender amendments.
  • Support invoicing, order execution, and post-order documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate in any discipline (B.Com/BBA/MBA preferred)

Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in GeM Portal / Tender Management
  • Experience in government tender handling will be preferred

Required Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of GeM Portal operations
  • Understanding of tender documentation and bidding process
  • Knowledge of BOQ, EMD, technical compliance, and bid preparation
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
  • Strong documentation and coordination skills
  • Good communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines efficiently

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in e-tendering portals
  • Knowledge of government procurement processes
  • Experience in vendor registration and catalog management
  • Basic understanding of GST, invoicing, and compliance documentation
