Accounting Technician
Job Description:
Whether you’re an experienced Accounting Technician or a motivated individual looking to launch your accounting career, we want to hear from you! Ideally, we would love to add an experienced technician to our growing team, but if you have what it takes, we are willing to train the right person.
You will be exposed to a diverse set of clients across a broad range of industries, fostering a wealth of knowledge that will enhance your skills throughout your career.
Key Responsibilities

Complete compilation engagements.

Provide bookkeeping support for clients and internal staff.

Prepare personal and corporate tax returns.

Provide payroll support.

Assist in the filing of GST and WCB.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)

The Attributes: Hardworking, strong problem-solving abilities, and a true team player.

Education: Post-secondary education in accounting is considered a strong asset.

Software: Familiarity with accounting and tax preparation software (e.g., QBO, SAGE, CaseWare, Taxprep) is ideal, but not mandatory (we will train!).

Adaptability: A desire to learn, grow, and collaborate with a diverse group of professionals.
