Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or any relevant discipline.

Experience: 2–5 Years’ experience in Power Plant, Transmission, Distribution, Solar, or Power Sector.

Industry Preference: Power Sector / Electrical / Energy / EPC

Job Summary

We are looking for a Store Officer with 2–5 years of experience in the power sector to manage store operations, inventory control, material handling, and documentation. The candidate should have knowledge of electrical and power plant materials, SAP/ERP systems, and proper store management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock reconciliation.
• Handle inward and outward material entries in ERP/SAP system.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of electrical, mechanical, and consumable materials.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and cycle counting.
• Prepare GRN, material issue slips, stock reports, and other store-related documents.
• Coordinate with project/site/maintenance teams for material requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and housekeeping within the store area.
• Track slow-moving, non-moving, and obsolete inventory.
• Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections.
• Supervise loading/unloading activities and vendor material handling.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of store management and inventory control practices.
• Familiarity with power sector materials such as cables, transformers, switchgear, electrical components, consumables, etc.
• Working knowledge of SAP / ERP systems and MS Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Understanding of FIFO, stock auditing, and material coding systems.
