Logistics Head

Job Description:

Job Purpose

To plan, coordinate, and monitor the movement of goods from suppliers to customers efficiently,
ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

*Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations
*Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods
*Coordinate with transporters, freight forwarders, and vendors
*Ensure timely dispatch and delivery of materials and finished goods
*Track shipments and resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies
*Prepare and maintain logistics documents (GRN, challans, invoices, e-way bills, PODs, etc.)
*Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with warehouse teams
*Optimize logistics costs and improve delivery efficiency
*Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and company policies
*Maintain logistics MIS reports and dashboards
*Handle customer and internal queries related to dispatch and delivery
*LOI preparation and confirmation with the Unit/Plant
*Preparation of Cargo Lifting schedule for Plant/Unit
*Daily reconciliation of Pending details
*Internal Coordination(Team-wise)

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Business Administration (Diploma or
relevant certification is an added advantage)
Work Environment
Office-based with regular coordination with warehouse/plants and transport teams
May require site visits and flexible working hours depending on dispatch schedules
