About Ecofy:
Ecofy is a fast-growing manufacturer and exporter of sustainable molded-fiber tableware products, including bagasse-based plates, bowls, and food packaging solutions. Serving customers across 20+ countries, Ecofy is currently expanding operations and setting up a new manufacturing facility. We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to lead and establish world-class plant operations.

Role Summary:
The Plant Manager will act as the operational head of Ecofy’s manufacturing facility and will be responsible for complete plant operations, including production, safety, quality, maintenance, materials management, and workforce leadership. The role involves leading plant relocation, commissioning, ramp-up activities, and building a benchmark manufacturing operation.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end plant relocation activities including site readiness, utility coordination, equipment shifting, installation, commissioning, and trial runs
• Drive and monitor key plant KPIs including safety, output, yield, OEE, cost per unit, on-time dispatch, customer complaints, and energy consumption
• Manage cross-functional teams across production, quality, maintenance, stores, and EHS functions with a workforce of 100+ employees
• Prepare and manage annual operating plans, CAPEX plans, and operating budgets while monitoring variances and corrective actions
• Implement TPM, Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma practices across operations
• Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including Factories Act, Pollution Control Board norms, Boiler Act, labour laws, BRCGS, FSSAI, and ISO standards
• Coordinate with corporate departments including Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and HR for planning, hiring, forecasting, and operational alignment
• Develop and strengthen second-line leadership through training and talent development initiatives
• Handle customer audits, regulatory inspections, and senior management visits
• Lead cost optimization initiatives across raw material usage, manpower productivity, energy efficiency, and rejection control

🔹 Required Qualifications & Skills:
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, Pulp & Paper, or Production Engineering
• MBA / PG in Operations Management will be an added advantage
• 12–18 years of manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in Plant Head / Unit Head / Works Manager roles
• Strong exposure to molded fiber, pulp & paper, packaging, FMCG, or process manufacturing industries preferred
• Proven experience in greenfield plant setup, commissioning, or plant relocation projects
• Strong financial and operational management skills including budgeting, variance analysis, and CAPEX planning
• Deep understanding of statutory compliance and industrial regulations in India
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and crisis-handling abilities
• Working knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent
