CNC Operator
Job Description:
*Job Summary*
The CNC Operator is responsible for operating CNC machines safely and efficiently
to produce quality components as per drawing specifications and production targets.
*Key Responsibilities*
Operate CNC machines as per production plan.
Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets.
Perform basic machine setting and tool offset corrections.
Check dimensions using measuring instruments like Vernier, Micrometer, Height
Gauge, etc.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Ensure proper machine cleaning and 5S activities.
Follow safety procedures and company rules.
Inform supervisor about machine abnormalities or quality issues.
Achieve daily production targets with minimum rejection.
*Skills Required*
Knowledge of CNC machine operation.
Basic understanding of G-code and M-code.
Ability to read mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Discipline and teamwork.
Qualification
ITI or related field.
*Experience*
Fresher to 3 years experience in CNC machining.
