Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations using Tally / Tally Prime.
- Prepare and maintain ledger entries, vouchers, invoices, and bank reconciliations.
- Handle GST filings, including monthly/quarterly returns, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Manage TDS calculations, deductions, challans, and returns as per statutory requirements.
- Assist in finalization of accounts, balance sheet preparation, and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of receivables, payables, and expense tracking.
- Coordinate with internal teams and auditors for timely compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Finance or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting (or as per requirement).
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally & Tally Prime.
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
