A reputed steel manufacturing company engaged in large-scale industrial production is hiring a Sr. Manager to oversee operations, team management, and process coordination across plant activities. - Manage day-to-day operational and departmental activities efficiently.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, stores, and administration teams.
- Monitor workflow, manpower utilization, and operational performance regularly.
- Ensure achievement of operational targets while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Prepare MIS reports, operational analysis, and performance updates for management.
- Lead team members, supervisors, and operational staff effectively.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety norms, and operational policies.
- Handle operational issues and support smooth plant functioning.
- Support management in planning, execution, and business operations activities.
- Candidates with strong managerial experience in steel/manufacturing industries preferred.

Company Profile
The company is in midst of implementing a 0.42 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant to produce steel. Steel thus produced will consume 0.315 Million Tonne Sponge Iron from the proposed unit and 0.03 Million Tonne from the existing unit. Thus consuming the entire quantity of high grade sponge iron produced in its own manufacturing facilities. When iron is smelted from its ore by commercial processes, it contains more carbon, phosphorus, sulphar etc. than is desirable. To produce high quality steel, the elements must be brought to the within the desirable limits. The liquid steel is processed through AOD and VOD furnaces to achieve the desirable limits of elements. The liquid is then continuously casted into long slabs or through ingots.
