Job Description:
A reputed steel and power manufacturing company engaged in large-scale industrial operations is hiring an Assistant Rigger to support rigging, lifting, and material handling activities within the plant. - Assist in rigging, lifting, and shifting of heavy machinery, materials, and equipment.
- Support crane operations and safe movement of industrial components within plant premises.
- Help in installation, erection, and alignment of machinery and structural equipment.
- Ensure proper use of ropes, chains, slings, hooks, and rigging tools.
- Coordinate with crane operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors during lifting activities.
- Inspect rigging tools and equipment before use to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain rigging records, work logs, and operational support documentation.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE usage, and lifting operation guidelines strictly.
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged tools, or operational issues immediately.
- Support maintenance and shutdown activities involving heavy equipment handling.
- Candidates with industrial rigging or material handling experience preferred.
