Dy Manager / Manager Production

Job Description:

Drawing and preparation for Production:

• Anticipates and prepares for receipt of the Design and instructions from his superior
• Prepares the Mechanical drawing of the product as per the design and layout
• Discusses with design head on the concepts of the product and fitment of components
• Ensures the drawing fits the design in terms of operations and also in alignment with the production and assembling execution.

Project Awareness for Product Development:

• Understands the scope of the project and the customization required for the customer for his ease of operations
• Coordinates with the respective teams for preparation of BOM and order placement for parts.

Vendor Follow up: Post BOM Preparation and purchase order placement, follows up with vendors for components lead time in alignment with deliverable target dates.

Production Supervision:

• Supervision of Assembling of components through own team and vendors
• Consults seniors for customisation and fitment during production for a compact production meeting all technical specifications.
• Ensures materials in time and as per customised requirements in adherence to scope and contract
• Coordinates with purchase for parts, alternative components in case of unavailability and customisation of the product
• Takes permission from seniors for using alternate components for production efficacy, product unavailability, easier fitment, etc.
• Supervision and execution of production as per design and customer requirements in constant discussion with seniors.

Team Management:

• Manages the resources across all sections of production till despatch to meet deadlines
• Allocates work to In-house and contracted workers based on skills and deliverables.
• Testing Supervises testing of the products at various levels to ensure adherence to expected outcomes as defined in contract.

Dispatch:

• Supervises despatch from unit and ensures complete documentation as per terms required till products and networking equipment are received by the customers.
• Ensures safe despatch, matched with the delivery list of items and expected date of receipt by customer.
