Job Description:

Position:      Sr. Executive/Assistant Manager - Costing

Location:       Surat

Experience:    5 - 10 Years 

Industries:     Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Costing
  • Ensure adherence to timelines for the preparation of costing reports, facilitating timely decision-making and budget allocation.
  • Implement and maintain robust costing procedures to accurately assess product and service costs, including material, labour and overhead expenses.

  • Preparation of Customer cost sheets.

  • Implement measures to reduce average inventory aging and enhance overall inventory management efficiency.

  • MIS

  • Generate Utility Analysis reports to analyse utility expenses and identify cost- saving opportunities.

  • Prepare HR Analysis reports to assess staffing costs, productivity, and resource allocation.

  • Compile and distribute Project Reports detailing financial performance, budget utilization, and project milestones.

  • Facilitate timely preparation and circulation of Yield and Overhead Spend Analysis reports to provide insights into operational efficiency and cost optimization.

  • Prepare weekly/Bimonthly/monthly MIS on Export remittance, ITC Ageing register, refund status.

  • Prepare Monthly MIS & Monitor overheads and wrt Annual Budget and share variance reports to Management.

  • Prepare monthly sales variance report along with Company level reports on Fixed vs Variable costs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall Management Information System (MIS) planning.

  • Execution

  • Proactively identify areas of underperformance in inventory management and cost control through data analysis and operational reviews.

  • Lead projects aimed at reducing inventory levels, minimizing costs, and enhancing overall operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and monitor the effectiveness of implemented initiatives.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement new projects efficiently and within set timelines.

  • Audit

  • Coordinate the completion of quarterly audits and cost audits within defined timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Work towards reducing audit observations on annual cost sheets by maintaining accurate records and implementing internal controls.

  • Address audit findings promptly, implement corrective actions, and strengthen financial processes to mitigate future risks.
