Heel Milling Machine Operator

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities-

• Operate heel milling machines for tower and pole components as per production drawings and specifications.
• Set up machine parameters, tooling, and fixtures before operation.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and work instructions.
• Ensure accurate milling dimensions, whole alignment, and edge finishing.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
• Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities or breakdowns.
• Maintain production quality standards and minimize material wastage.
• Coordinate with supervisors, quality inspectors, and maintenance teams.
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around the machine area.
• Achieve daily production and efficiency targets.

Requirements-

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating heel milling machines in tower, pole, steel fabrication, or heavy manufacturing industries
• Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as vernier calipers and measuring tapes.
• Basic understanding of machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
