Urgent Job Opening for Senior Accountant for Manufacturing Industry, Ahmedabad

Job Description:

 A Senior Accountant in manufacturing manages complex financial operations. Key duties include cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial reporting, and month-end close.

• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
• Conduct regular ledger maintenance
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.
• Handle TDS and TCS compliance.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
• Reconcile vendor ledgers and accounts payable.
• Assist with basic auditing tasks.
• Utilize e-commerce experience to streamline financial processes (preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data accuracy.
• Stay updated with changes in tax regulations and compliance requirements.
