Draftsman – SEW-EURODRIVE (3 Years Experience)

Experience: 3+ Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
Location: Typically Vadodara, Gujarat or other SEW locations

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Create detailed manufacturing, assembly, and layout drawings.
• Develop equipment and plant layouts based on project requirements.
• Modify and update existing drawings as per engineering changes.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with design, production, quality, and project teams.
• Conduct site visits for measurements and layout studies when required.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain drawing revisions and document control procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Good working knowledge of SolidWorks (mandatory).
• Knowledge of CATIA/ANSYS is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
• Knowledge of gear motors, mechanical assemblies, fabrication, and industrial automation concepts.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Preferred Experience

• Equipment design, machine layout design, or industrial automation projects.
• Preparation of assembly drawings and manufacturing drawings.
• Working with ERP/PDM systems and BOM management.
• Experience in engineering industries related to motors, gearboxes, conveyors, or automation.
