Production Engineer
Job Description:
Experience: 4-6 Years
Qualification: B.Tech/Diploma in electrical
Package: 4-8 LPA

Job Purpose
To supervise and manage day-to-day production activities related to electrical panel manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, safety standards, and optimal utilization of manpower and resources.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Production & Operations
Supervise electrical panel assembly (MV/LT Panels, PCC, MCC, etc.)
Ensure production targets are achieved as per planning schedule
Monitor workflow, material availability, and machine utilization
Coordinate with PPC for daily production planning
B. Quality Control
Ensure adherence to customer specifications and quality standards
Conduct in-process inspections and final checks
Minimize rework and rejection through process control
Ensure compliance with ISO / audit requirements.
C. Team Handling Manage and supervise technicians, electricians, and helpers
Allocate tasks and monitor performance of team members
Provide training and skill development support (as identified in internal training plans)
Maintain discipline and productivity on shop floor
D. Safety & Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures and PPE usage
Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks
Ensure safe handling of electrical equipment and tools
E. Continuous Improvement
Implement Lean practices (5S, Kaizen, TPM, etc.) as per company initiatives.
Suggest process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction
Maintain proper documentation and production records
F. Coordination
Coordinate with: o Quality Department o Stores & Purchase o Design & Engineering
Ensure smooth material flow and issue resolution
