Franchise / Business Development Manager
Job Description:
Build and manage company PCD/franchise network. Identify, appoint, onboard and grow franchise partners — distributors and PCD partners — across assigned territories, ensuring consistent monthly purchase volume, brand-compliant promotion, and a healthy reorder pipeline.
This is a channel-building and partner-management role, not direct doctor detailing.
* 5–10 years in pharma/nutraceutical PCD, franchise, or distribution sales.
* Existing network of distributors, stockists, and ex-MRs that can be developed into franchise partners.
* Proven track record of appointing and managing franchise/PCD partners and achieving volume targets.
* Strong understanding of PTR / PTS / MRP margin structures and territory management.
* Identify and appoint franchise/PCD partners across Gujarat and target states, starting with priority districts.
* Negotiate and finalize territory rights, minimum monthly purchase commitments, and payment terms (advance/PI).
* Onboard new partners: product training, approved pitch, promotional inputs, claim guidelines, and ordering process.
* Drive monthly partner reorders; track partner-wise sales, identify under-performing partners, and reactivate or replace them.
* Ensure every partner promotes company strictly within approved FSMP claims (no over-claiming on Hb/ferritin results).
* Coordinate with operations/manufacturing to forecast partner demand and prevent stock-outs.
* Maintain a partner CRM/tracker: territory, purchase history, reorder gaps, and outstanding dues.
* Represent company professionally to partners and at trade interactions.
