Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, International Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Experience: 15-30 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth in both domestic and international markets with Pharma Machineries/ Capital goods equipment.
Job Summary:
The Vice President of Sales (Domestic & Export) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and driving the company's sales efforts across both domestic and international markets. This position involves developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, expand market presence, and enhance customer relationships. The VP of Sales will manage a high-performing sales team and collaborate closely with other senior executives to align sales team with overall business objectives. This role involves working closely with various departments, including Production, Customers, Administration, Purchase after Sales and service, to streamline domestic & export operation and address any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership:
- Develop and implement domestic and international sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and create strategies to penetrate and grow in domestic and export markets.
- Lead and manage the sales team, providing direction, motivation, and support to achieve sales goals.
- Sales Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of annual sales plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to ensure targets are met.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, Agents, and Merchant export.
- Market Analysis and Expansion:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in both domestic and international markets.
- Develop strategies for market entry and expansion, including assessing potential partnerships, joint ventures, and acquisition opportunities.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Streamline sales processes and systems to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade agreements, and company policies across all markets.
- Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales personnel, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to Services After sales & Service.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Provide regular reports and updates to the Director or Managing Director on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in sales analytics, CRM systems, and sales management tools.
- Deep understanding of international trade regulations, export processes, and market dynamics.
