Job Description:

Job Purpose

 

Drive business growth by identifying new market opportunities, developing innovative packaging film solutions, and managing B2B corporate accounts.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

New Product Development (NPD)

  •  
  • Market Research: Identify emerging trends in flexible packaging, sustainable films, and barrier technologies.
  •  
  • Product Conceptualization: Understand corporate client requirements into technical product specifications.
  •  
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to trial new film formulations.
  •  
  • Timeline Management: Stage-gate monitor the entire NPD lifecycle from concept to commercial launch.
  •  
  • Testing & Compliance: Ensure all new films meet regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, BRCGS) and client technical specs.

 

Corporate Sales & Business Development

  •  
  • Account Acquisition: Target and secure high-value corporate clients in FMCG, food & beverage, and pharma sectors.
  •  
  • Revenue Growth: Own the sales pipeline, negotiate high-volume contracts, and achieve annual revenue targets.
  •  
  • Value Engineering: Pitch customized, cost-effective, or sustainable film solutions to procurement and packaging heads.
  •  
  • Technical Consultation: Act as a subject matter expert during technical sales presentations and factory audits.
  •  
  • Key Account Management: Maintain long-term relationships with existing corporate buyers to ensure repeat business.

 

Required Qualifications & Skills

 

Education

  •  
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Technology, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Preferred: MBA in Marketing or International Business.

 

Experience

  • Duration: 5 to 10 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry.

 

CTC- Negotiable

  •  
  • Domain: Proven track record in selling or developing BOPP, BOPET, CPP, barrier, or specialty laminated films.

 

Technical & Behavioral Skills

  • Deep knowledge of film extrusion, printing, and lamination processes.
  • Strong understanding of barrier properties and sustainable packaging trends.
  • Excellent negotiation, B2B corporate pitching, and contract closing skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and technical trials.
