Job Description:
Position : CAM programmer
Experience : 2 - 4 yrs
Salary Budget : 4.00 to 5.00 LPA
Qualification : Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Job Location : POR (Nr. Vadodara)
Transportation : Yes from Vadodara
Key Skills Required
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis VMC machines.
- Generate toolpaths using CAM software such as Mastercam, Powermill, NX CAM, HyperMILL, or similar.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, CAD models, and manufacturing specifications.
- Select cutting tools, fixtures, and machining strategies to maximize productivity.
- Perform machine setup verification and prove-out of new programs.
- Troubleshoot machining issues related to programming, tooling, and machine parameters.
- Reduce cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
- Support production teams in process improvements and continuous optimization.
- Maintain program documentation, setup sheets, and tooling records.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
