Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Ad Sales Head to lead our business development and advertising sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, media sales, client acquisition, and team leadership. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive revenue growth, build long-term client relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities, emerging market trends, and industry developments.
- Drive sustainable growth through strategic partnerships and client acquisition initiatives.
- Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Sales Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing ad sales team.
- Set sales goals, monitor performance metrics, and implement improvement strategies.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and engage potential clients across B2B, B2C, app-based companies, advertising agencies, startups, and enterprises.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Understand client objectives and provide customized digital marketing and advertising solutions.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Generate qualified leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, and strategic outreach.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and pitches.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts to maximize revenue opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, creative, campaign management, and operations teams.
- Develop customized advertising solutions aligned with client requirements.
- Ensure successful campaign execution and ongoing client support.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for business expansion.
- Provide strategic insights to senior management on market developments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- MBA or Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in Ad Sales, Media Sales, Digital Marketing Sales, or Business Development.
- Prior experience managing sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising, performance marketing, and media buying ecosystems.
