Job Title: Automation / Electrical Manager Pharma Machine Manufacturing

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in the pharma machine manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (preferably Delta systems), control panel design and wiring, and a solid understanding of industrial automation practices. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions for pharma-grade machines while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC (Delta, Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.) and HMI systems used in pharmaceutical machines.
Develop and test automation sequences for machines like tablet presses, blister packing, capsule filling, and other pharma manufacturing equipment.
Read and interpret electrical and control schematics for system integration.
Design and supervise electrical control panels and field wiring; ensure adherence to electrical safety norms and GMP requirements.
Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and quality departments to ensure integrated system functionality.
Modify existing automation systems for upgrades or customizations as per client requirements.
Perform FAT/SAT (Factory/ Site Acceptance Testing), installation, commissioning, and support at client sites (if needed).
Generate documentation such as wiring diagrams, IO lists, PLC logic flowcharts, operation manuals, and validation protocols.
Ensure compliance with pharma industry regulations (cGMP, GAMP, etc.).
Key Skills & Competencies:
Proficient in PLC programming (Delta essential; others like Siemens or Allen Bradley is a plus).
Experience with HMI design and development (Delta DOPSoft or equivalent).
Good understanding of control panel wiring, electrical troubleshooting, and panel design software (ePlan, AutoCAD Electrical).
Knowledge of pharma machinery and automation in cleanroom environments.
Strong understanding of sensors, VFDs, actuators, safety circuits, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Good communication and documentation skills.
