Job Description:
Position: Asst. Manager - HR
Location: Gandhidham
Experience: 7 - 10 Years
Industries: Shipping/Marine
Responsibilities
- Monitor employee attendance, shift schedules, and leave records through HRMS.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly attendance.
- Coordinate with department heads regarding attendance discrepancies.
- Generate attendance, absenteeism, late-coming, and overtime reports.
- Support implementation and administration of attendance systems and processes.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs including attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Verify payroll-related data for accuracy before submission.
- Assist employees in resolving payroll-related queries.
- Maintain payroll records and statutory compliance documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external training programs.
- Maintain training calendars and employee training records.
- Collect training feedback and prepare effectiveness reports.
- Assist in goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual performance appraisal processes.
- Track completion of PMS activities and follow up with employees and managers.
- Generate PMS-related reports, dashboards, and analytics.
- Coordinate Group Mediclaim, Personal Accident, and other employee insurance programs.
- Facilitate employee enrolment, additions, deletions, and policy renewals.
- Assist employees in claim documentation and claim processing.
- Liaise with insurance brokers, TPAs, and service providers.
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement initiatives.
- Coordinate employee welfare programs, celebrations, recognition programs, and cultural events.
- Support employee communication initiatives and HR campaigns.
- Support onboarding and induction of new employees.
- Maintain employee personal files and HR documentation.
- Prepare HR letters, employment certificates, and other employee communications.
- Assist in confirmation, transfer, promotion, and separation processes.
- Ensure proper documentation and record management.
- Maintain HR databases and employee records.
- Prepare monthly HR dashboards and management reports.
- Assist in maintaining statutory and labor law-related records.
- Support HR audits and compliance reviews.
