Job Description:

We are currently looking for experienced professionals with a strong background in Account Management, Client Relationship Management, Business Development, and Sales within the Rail, Transportation, or Logistics sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and decision-makers within the rail industry.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and client meetings to understand business needs and objectives.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within rail accounts.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Sales & Negotiations

  • Lead the preparation of proposals, contracts, and pricing models.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure long-term agreements.
  • Drive business growth through successful account expansion.

Project Management & Delivery

  • Collaborate with operations, logistics, and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Monitor contract performance and address client concerns proactively.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Stay informed on rail industry trends, regulations, digitalization, sustainability initiatives, and emerging technologies.
  • Provide strategic insights and maintain accurate sales forecasts and account reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • 10–15+ years of experience in Account Management, Sales, or Business Development.
  • Experience within Rail, Transportation, Logistics, Infrastructure, or Mobility sectors.
  • Strong understanding of freight/passenger rail operations, industry regulations, and customer management.
  • Proven experience managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with rail operators, infrastructure providers, or supply chain partners.
  • International rail business experience.
  • Knowledge of sustainable transportation solutions.
  • Fluency in German or Italian is a plus.
