Job Purpose

To ensure maximum availability, reliability, and efficiency of all Dry Mix plant equipment through effective preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices while maintaining safety, quality, and cost objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Plant & Equipment Maintenance

• Ensure smooth operation of Dry Mix manufacturing equipment including mixers, conveyors, elevators, silos, packing machines, compressors, boilers, and utility systems.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Minimize equipment downtime and improve plant availability.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.

Utility & Infrastructure Management

• Maintain electrical systems, DG sets, compressors, air lines, water systems, and plant infrastructure.
• Ensure uninterrupted utility supply for production operations.

Team Management

• Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Allocate manpower effectively and monitor performance.
• Conduct technical and safety training programs.

Spare Parts & Cost Control

• Maintain critical spare inventory and ensure availability of essential consumables.
• Monitor maintenance expenses and optimize maintenance costs.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement and service support.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Implement LOTO procedures and safe maintenance practices.
• Participate in safety audits and closure of observations.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive TPM, Kaizen, and reliability improvement initiatives.
• Improve machine efficiency and reduce maintenance-related losses.
• Support automation and modernization projects.

Desired Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 8–15 years of maintenance experience in Dry Mix Mortar, AAC Block, Cement, Building Materials, Chemical, or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automation systems.
