Greenfield Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Greenfield Project Manager to lead the establishment of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility from project initiation to commissioning. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards, coordinating machinery installation, and supporting facility readiness for operations.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
Manage end-to-end execution of greenfield pharmaceutical projects.
Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to project milestones and report progress to management.
Construction Management
Supervise civil, structural, electrical, HVAC, utility, and infrastructure development activities.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and construction standards.
Conduct site inspections and monitor contractor performance.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure facility design and construction comply with regulatory requirements such as GMP, WHO-GMP, Schedule M, USFDA, MHRA, and other applicable guidelines.
Coordinate with regulatory consultants for approvals and audits.
Maintain proper project documentation and validation records.
Machinery Installation & Commissioning
Plan and coordinate installation of production equipment, utilities, and supporting systems.
Liaise with equipment suppliers for installation, qualification, and commissioning activities.
Oversee IQ, OQ, and PQ activities where applicable.
Ensure smooth transition from project phase to operational readiness.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
Manage relationships with contractors, consultants, equipment manufacturers, and regulatory authorities.
Negotiate and monitor vendor deliverables and timelines.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or related field).
5–6 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing projects, preferably greenfield or plant expansion projects.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and GMP standards.
Experience in construction supervision, utility setup, machinery installation, and commissioning.
Familiarity with validation processes and pharmaceutical facility design.
Strong project management, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
