Job Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth, achieving sales targets, expanding the housing loan portfolio, and managing sales teams across the Kolkata region. The role focuses on Home Loans, Loan Against Property (LAP), Construction Finance, and cross-selling other financial products while maintaining portfolio quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Achieve regional sales and disbursement targets.
  • Drive growth in Home Loans, LAP, Balance Transfer, and Construction Finance products.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
  • Develop sourcing channels through DSAs, builders, connectors, and corporate partnerships.
  • Build a strong customer acquisition pipeline.

Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and monitor Branch Managers and Sales Teams.
  • Set KPIs and monitor team productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
  • Drive a high-performance sales culture.

Relationship Management

  • Build relationships with:
    • Builders & Developers
    • Direct Selling Agents (DSAs)
    • Channel Partners
    • Institutional Customers
    • Key Corporate Clients
  • Handle escalations and maintain strong customer engagement.

Risk & Portfolio Management

  • Work closely with Risk and Operations teams.
  • Ensure healthy portfolio quality and minimize NPAs.
  • Review loan approval cases as per authorization matrix.
  • Monitor delinquency and collections performance.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor TAT (Turnaround Time) from sourcing to disbursement.
  • Improve process efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Review MIS reports, profitability, and market performance.
