Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Chiller Service Manager / Senior Chiller Service Engineer with strong expertise in Chiller Troubleshooting, Preventive Maintenance, and Service Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with multiple Chiller OEMs, preferably including Carrier, and be capable of managing service teams while ensuring efficient operation and maintenance of chiller systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Chiller Troubleshooting and diagnose complex mechanical and refrigeration-related issues.
  • Lead and manage the Chiller Service Team to ensure smooth execution of service and maintenance activities.
  • Plan, monitor, and ensure timely completion of Preventive Maintenance Services (PMS).
  • Coordinate with the Carrier Technical Team and other OEM support teams for technical assistance and escalations.
  • Perform and supervise Refrigerant Recovery, System Vacuuming, Descaling, and Flow Balancing activities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring breakdowns.
  • Monitor chiller performance and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, OEM guidelines, and maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate spare parts requirements and support inventory planning.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to service engineers and technicians.
  • Support commissioning, testing, and performance verification of chiller systems.
  • Experience in Compressor Overhauling will be considered a strong advantage.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC Systems and Chiller Operations.
  • Expertise in Chiller Troubleshooting and Maintenance Management.
  • Hands-on experience in Refrigerant Recovery, Vacuuming, Descaling, and Flow Balancing.
  • Experience managing field service engineers and maintenance teams.
  • Strong understanding of Preventive Maintenance (PMS) and breakdown maintenance.
  • Ability to coordinate with OEM technical support teams.
  • Good knowledge of service documentation, reporting, and customer support.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with 2–3 or more Chiller OEM Brands.
  • Prior experience with Carrier Chillers preferred.
  • Exposure to Compressor Overhauling and major equipment repairs.
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, or large-scale HVAC projects.
