Job Description – Projects Engineer (Mechanical) | Jadcherla

Position: Projects Engineer
Location: Jadcherla, Telangana
Experience: 3–4 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
Execute plant expansion, infrastructure, and CAPEX projects within timelines and budgets.
Prepare and review engineering drawings, layouts, and technical documents using AutoCAD.
Coordinate installation, erection, and commissioning of plant equipment and utilities.
Manage utility-related projects involving compressors, chillers, HVAC systems, boilers, piping, water systems, and other plant facilities.
Liaise with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure timely closure of project activities.
Conduct site surveys, measurements, and feasibility assessments for new projects.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and statutory requirements during project execution.
Support troubleshooting and modification activities related to plant utilities and mechanical systems.
Review technical specifications, BOQs, and vendor quotations.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of plant utilities such as HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and piping.
Experience in equipment installation, erection, and commissioning.
Good understanding of project planning, execution, and vendor management.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and layouts.
Proficiency in MS Office and project documentation.
Preferred Background:

Candidates from manufacturing industries such as plastics, packaging, pipes, FMCG, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, engineering, or industrial plants with exposure to project execution and utility management.
