Job Description:
Position: Engineering Store Executive

Department: Engineering
Reports To: Engineering Manager / Plant Manager
Job Purpose
Responsible for managing the Engineering Store to ensure timely availability of spare parts, consumables, tools, and maintenance materials required for smooth operation of production lines and utilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory of engineering spare parts, consumables, and maintenance tools.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Issue and receive materials with proper documentation and inventory control.
- Identify and procure critical spare parts to minimize production downtime.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Stores for material planning and purchasing.
- Maintain accurate stock records, ERP/store transactions, and inventory reports.
- Conduct periodic stock verification and ensure proper storage and housekeeping.
- Support installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities by ensuring timely availability of required materials.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain. Candidates with relevant store management experience in beverage manufacturing will also be considered.
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering Stores within a beverage or food manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and utility spare parts.
- Experience managing spare parts for SACMI, Krones, KHS, Sidel, compressors, chillers, pumps, conveyors, and packaging equipment is preferred.
- Experience with Dolfin / ERP / SAP systems and inventory management.
Preferred Skills
- Strong inventory planning and analytical skills.
- Good knowledge of spare part identification and engineering drawings.
- Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Experience working in Africa will be an added advantage.
