Job Description:
This role manages shop floor operations in the Steel Rolling Mill department. Candidates will oversee production targets, minimize waste, and maintain safety protocols. [1]
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor daily rolling mill production outputs.
  • Minimize burning loss and scrap generation.
  • Manage shift manpower and workforce distribution.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical or process-related mill jams.
  • Maintain raw material and finished goods logs.
  • Enforce strict safety and PPE compliance. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgy Engineering.
  • Experience: 0 to 3 years in steel rolling mills.
  • Skills: Knowledge of reheating furnaces, mill stands, and cooling beds.
  • Traits: Strong leadership, quick problem-solving, and shift-rotation flexibility. [1, 2, 3, 4]
