We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in GST, TDS, Tally ERP, financial accounting, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and MIS reporting.

Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, GST and TDS compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, statutory filings, and overall accounting activities. The role requires hands-on experience in Tally ERP, excellent knowledge of taxation, and the ability to independently manage accounting functions while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally ERP.
  • Prepare and maintain journals, ledgers, vouchers, cash books, and financial records.
  • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
  • Ensure accurate bookkeeping and financial record maintenance.

GST & Taxation

  • Prepare and file GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9).
  • Perform GST reconciliation and ensure timely statutory compliance.
  • Handle TDS calculation, deduction, return filing, and reconciliation.
  • Ensure compliance with Income Tax regulations and statutory deadlines.
  • Coordinate with Chartered Accountants during tax assessments and audits.

Reconciliation & Financial Controls

  • Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
  • Reconcile vendor, customer, and ledger accounts.
  • Verify invoices, payment approvals, and supporting documents.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain strong financial controls.

Insurance Broking Accounting

  • Maintain records of insurance premium collections and payments.
  • Reconcile insurer accounts and brokerage receivables.
  • Record commission income and business expenses accurately.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies regarding financial transactions and reconciliations.

Audit & Compliance

  • Assist in statutory, internal, GST, and tax audits.
  • Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory regulations.

MIS & Financial Reporting

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
  • Generate financial reports for management review.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, expenses, and profitability.
  • Provide analytical reports to support business decisions.

Required Skills
