Job Summary

The Planning Engineer is responsible for preparing Production Planning Schedules, coordinating with Cross-Functional Departments, and ensuring the Timely Completion of customer orders. The role focuses on Production Planning, Resource Optimization, Production Monitoring, and maintaining On-Time Delivery Commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Production Planning Schedules.
• Review Customer Orders and prioritize Production Activities.
• Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Stores, and Production Departments.
• Monitor Raw Material Availability before releasing Production Plans.
• Ensure smooth Workflow Coordination between departments.
• Track Order Progress from Production to Dispatch.
• Prepare Production Status Reports and MIS Reports for management.
• Plan Manpower Allocation and Machine Utilization effectively.
• Identify Production Bottlenecks and recommend Corrective Actions.
• Monitor Production Targets and Delivery Commitments.
• Coordinate Urgent Orders and Customer Priorities.
• Maintain Production Planning Records and Documentation.
• Ensure On-Time Completion of all Manufacturing Activities.
• Support Continuous Process Improvement initiatives.
• Follow Quality Standards, Safety Procedures, and Company SOPs.
