🔧 Job Summary

We are seeking a Jr. Instrumentation Engineer with 1–3 years of experience in instrumentation design and engineering to support project development and execution. The role involves assisting in instrumentation system design, preparing drawings and documentation, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects meet technical requirements and standards.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design of instrumentation and control systems for industrial and utility projects (e.g., water/wastewater treatment, process automation, plant utilities).
• Prepare and modify instrumentation drawings such as instrument index, loop drawings, hook-up diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Support the development of instrument data sheets, specifications, P&IDs, and BOMs.
• Work with senior engineers to design control strategies and select field instruments (sensors, transmitters, PLC/DCS I/O, etc.).
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process teams to ensure fully integrated system designs.
• Help prepare technical documentation, proposals, and submittals for clients.
• Assist during procurement support, vendor evaluation, and reviewing instrument datasheets.
• Provide support for site activities such as instrument installation checks, calibration, and start-up assistance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable instrumentation standards, safety practices, and quality procedures.

📌 Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Control Systems, or related engineering discipline.
• 1 – 3 years of experience in instrumentation design and engineering support (industrial/EPC preferred).
• Basic understanding of field instruments, signal wiring, control systems, PLC/DCS basics, and loop design.
• Good technical communication and documentation skills.

💡 Preferred Skills

• Exposure to P&ID development, loop diagrams, and control system architecture.
• Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISA, IEC) and instrumentation practices.
• Ability to assist in site commissioning and functional testing under supervision.
• Comfortable working in a project team environment with coordination across disciplines.
