Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient OE Sales Manager to lead and expand the Original Equipment (OE) sales of Centrifugal Pumps (API 610) in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in rotating equipment, proven sales leadership experience, and a successful track record of managing large industrial projects, particularly within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for API 610 Centrifugal Pumps.
- Identify and target new customers, markets, and applications aligned with company growth objectives.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and drive market share expansion.
- Build strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and profitability.
2. Business Development
- Lead technical and commercial discussions with EPC contractors, OEMs, consultants, and end-users.
- Identify project opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Manage long-cycle sales processes including tendering, RFQs, technical clarifications, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in target industries.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major end-users and strategic accounts in the region.
- Conduct regular customer visits, technical presentations, and business review meetings.
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored pump solutions.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term business retention.
4. Project Coordination
- Collaborate with application engineering, proposal, execution, and service teams to ensure timely delivery of quotations and project commitments.
- Support smooth project execution by ensuring effective handover and active involvement during critical stages.
- Coordinate internally to meet technical and commercial commitments.
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
- Analyze customer demand, industry developments, and business opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.
- Recommend business improvement strategies based on market insights.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant experience in rotating equipment / centrifugal pumps, with at least 5 years in a managerial or senior sales role.
- Strong technical knowledge of API 610 Pumps, OEM standards, engineering specifications, and applications.
- Proven track record in sales and business development within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Power sectors.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
- Hands-on experience with leading OEMs such as Sulzer, Flowserve, ITT, KSB, Trillium Pumps, Sundyne, or similar.
- Strong network and market presence in Saudi Arabia or GCC region.
Candidate Preference
- Indian nationals currently based in India will be preferred.
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia with family status benefits.
