Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the organization's financial operations, accounting processes, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, optimize financial processes, maintain strong internal controls, and support business decision-making through financial analysis. This role requires a hands-on professional who can effectively manage day-to-day finance functions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Develop and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow plans to support business objectives.

  • Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

  • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and fund utilization to maintain financial stability.

  • Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, and ensure timely resolution of audit observations.

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

  • Review and strengthen financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures.

  • Analyze financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend process improvements.

  • Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and management reports to support business decisions.

  • Coordinate with banks, auditors, consultants, and government authorities on finance-related matters.

  • Support business teams by providing financial insights for commercial decisions and operational planning.

  • Supervise and mentor finance and accounting team members to ensure high performance and continuous development.

  • Assist in ERP implementation, financial system improvements, and process automation initiatives.

  • Ensure timely vendor payments, customer collections, and reconciliation of key accounts.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • CA, CMA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage.

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ownership.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in manufacturing, retail, FMCG, healthcare, logistics, or startup environments will be preferred.

  • Exposure to ERP implementation or finance process automation projects is an advantage.
