Civil Design Engineer for Digwal based MNC Pharma Company

Job Description:

It will be on the third role of Talisman HR Solutions Pvt Ltd

Responsible for planning, coordinating, reviewing, and managing all civil and structural engineering design activities for Pharmaceutical/ Industrial projects by effectively coordinating with design consultants, engineering agencies, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Ensure timely delivery of quality engineering deliverables that are technically sound, cost-effective, compliant with applicable codes and standards, and aligned with project execution requirements.

Key Deliverables:

Engineering Design Management

 Coordinate and manage all civil and structural engineering activities from concept design through detailed engineering and construction support.

 Ensure timely submission of engineering deliverables including drawings, calculations, specifications, BOQs, design reports, and material requisitions.

 Review engineering deliverables for completeness, constructability, standardization, safety, operability, and maintainability before approval.

 Ensure engineering deliverables are aligned with project execution requirements and approved project schedules. Consultant Coordination & Design Review

 Act as the primary interface between Piramal Pharma and external civil/structural design consultants.

 Drive consultants to achieve engineering milestones within agreed timelines and quality standards.

 Review, challenge, and optimize engineering solutions proposed by consultants to ensure technically sound and cost-effective designs.

 Conduct regular engineering review meetings and monitor consultant performance against project deliverables.

 Ensure timely incorporation and closure of review comments from internal stakeholders. Multidisciplinary Engineering Coordination

 Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, Architecture, and Utilities teams for interface management.

 Ensure proper integration of civil and structural designs with multidisciplinary engineering requirements.

 Identify engineering clashes and coordinate timely resolution before construction. Engineering Planning & Cost Optimization

 Prepare and monitor engineering schedules, deliverable trackers, and design progress reports.

 Support value-engineering initiatives by identifying opportunities for cost optimization without compromising safety, quality, or functionality.

 Review engineering quantities, BOQs, specifications, and technical documents to optimize project costs. Quality Assurance & Engineering Compliance

 Ensure engineering designs comply with applicable IS Codes, project specifications, statutory regulations, and industry best practices.
