Position:    Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager - Quality

Location:       Silvassa

Experience:    7 - 8 Years

Industry:       Packaging 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality as per customer, ISO, BIS, and company quality standards.
• Handle incoming, in-process, and final product inspections.
• Maintain and implement Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, BIS, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct internal audits, support external, customer, and certification audits, and ensure audit compliance.
• Prepare audit reports and close audit observations through effective CAPA implementation.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce quality issues.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate timely resolution.
• Work closely with Production, Maintenance, R&D, Purchase, Supply Chain, and Sales for cross-functional quality improvement.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
• Monitor quality KPIs and prepare MIS and management reports.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing instruments.
• Train employees on quality standards, SOPs, ISO requirements, and quality awareness.
• Supervise the quality team and ensure smooth day-to-day quality operations.
• Support new product development, validation, and process improvement activities.
