Job Description:
The Civil Engineer will spearhead the end-to-end execution of greenfield manufacturing plants.
Responsibilities span site development, structural fabrication, heavy machinery foundation work, and adherence to global safety and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Execution: Manage the construction of industrial sheds, administrative blocks, and heavy-duty utility buildings from conceptualization to commissioning.
- Structural Design & Review: Review and validate civil and structural drawings, ensuring alignment with local and global building codes.
- Foundation Engineering: Supervise the construction of specialized, heavy-load foundations required for precision machining and heavy manufacturing equipment.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Oversee on-site contractors, evaluate daily progress, and enforce quality control (QC) metrics.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project costs, track material utilization, and assist in preparing monthly progress reports.
- Safety Compliance (EHS): Implement and monitor strict environment, health, and safety (EHS) guidelines on-site, ensuring zero-harm operations.
Essential Qualifications
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of core civil engineering experience, with a proven track record in heavy industrial or automotive greenfield projects.
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
