In-Process & Final Quality Assurance
- Monitor and control the quality of the liquid painting process, including basecoat, clearcoat, and primer applications.
- Perform visual inspection and laboratory testing for painted automotive sheets, castings, and polymer components.
- Conduct critical paint tests: Dry Film Thickness (DFT), gloss levels, cross-hatch adhesion, scratch resistance, and impact testing.
- Control common liquid paint defects like orange peel, runs, sags, dust inclusions, pinholes, and color mismatches.
2. Chemical & Parametric Control
- Standardize parameters for liquid paint preparation, including viscosity monitoring and temperature/humidity control of the flash-off and oven baking zones.
- Monitor pre-treatment (PT) and Electrodeposition (CED) or phosphating line chemistries, including bath concentration, pH levels, and total dissolved solids (TDS).
