Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Robotic Maintenance Engineer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience to join our engineering team at our plant in Waluj MIDC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum uptime, breakdown mitigation, and routine preventative maintenance of industrial robots (e.g., Fanuc, Yaskawa, ABB, Kuka), heavy-duty mechanical/hydraulic presses, and automated welding lines (MIG/Spot).

Key Responsibilities
🤖 Robotic & Weld Shop Maintenance
- Perform routine preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance on industrial robots used for MIG, TIG, and spot welding applications.
- Troubleshoot robot errors, manipulate robot axes manually, and perform jogging or home-position teaching.
- Maintain and repair robotic welding peripherals, including weld controllers, torch cleaners, wire feeders, and pneumatic dress packs.
- Troubleshoot automated line issues associated with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and sensor/actuator networks.
⚙️ Press Shop Maintenance
- Assist in mechanical and electrical breakdown troubleshooting of hydraulic and mechanical press machines.
- Handle regular inspection and maintenance of press shop automation, including sheet feeders, de-stackers, and transfer systems.
- Inspect and perform minor calibration or adjustments on hydraulic valves, pumps, pneumatic cylinders, and lubrication units.
🛠️ General Operations & Safety
- Minimize equipment downtime through rapid root-cause analysis (RCA) during live production shifts.
- Maintain clean documentation of daily breakdown logs, spare parts usage, and preventive maintenance checklists.
- Coordinate closely with production supervisors to plan shutdown maintenance schedules.
- Strictly follow 5S methodologies and industrial safety practices, including Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have Competencies
- Robot Handling: Basic robot programming, path correction, and jog-teaching experience (Fanuc, Motoman/Yaskawa, Kuka, or ABB).
- Industrial Automation: Understanding of PLC architecture (Siemens, Allen Bradley), limit switches, proximity sensors, and relays.
- Welding Knowledge: Working familiarity with robotic MIG/Spot welding parameters, gas flow systems, and tip dressers.
- Engineering Tools: Capability to interpret engineering blueprints, hydraulic circuit diagrams, and electrical schematics
