Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  1. Lead Generation & Support
  • Assist in identifying new leads and project opportunities
  • Support senior sales team in business development activities
  • Maintain database of consultants, contractors, and clients
  1. Inquiry Handling & Follow-ups
  • Track incoming inquiries and update in CRM
  • Follow up with clients for requirements, drawings, and BOQ
  • Ensure timely response to all assigned inquiries
  1. Tender & Proposal Support
  • Assist in studying tender documents and specifications
  • Support in preparing techno-commercial proposals
  • Coordinate with design/estimation team for BOQ and costing
  1. Client Coordination
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and OEMs
  • Arrange meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Support in maintaining healthy client relationships
  1. Technical Learning & Support
  • Provide technical clarification and solution to clients
  • Conduct product presentations and system demonstrations
  • Support design team for finalizing system configuration
  1. Documentation & MIS Reporting
  • Maintain proper documentation of inquiries, proposals, and orders
  • Submit daily / weekly activity reports
  • Keep CRM updated with pipeline status
  1. Internal Coordination
  • Work with:
  • Design Team
  • Projects/Execution Team
  • Purchase Team
  • Ensure smooth information flow between departments
  1. Order Processing Support
  • Assist in order finalization and documentation
  • Support handover of project details to execution team
  1. Market Research
  • Collect basic market data:
  • Competitor activities
  • New projects in region
  • Share inputs with senior team

Qualifications :

  •  B.E./B.Tech in Fire & Safety Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. A Diploma in Fire & Safety Engineering with relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Certifications (preferred): NEBOSH, IFE (Institution of Fire Engineers), NFPA certification, or equivalent fire safety/fire protection certification.

Experience:

 

  • Manager: 8–12 years of relevant experience in fire fighting/fire protection systems (design, execution, or project management).
  • Sr. Manager: 12–18 years of relevant experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership/team-handling role.

Industry Background:

  • Experience in fire fighting system installation companies, MEP contracting firms, real estate/infrastructure companies, or fire safety consultancies preferred.

 Technical Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge of NBC (National Building Code), NFPA standards, local fire department norms, fire hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm & detection systems, gas suppression systems, and fire pump rooms.

Other Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of tendering, vendor management, project costing, and statutory/regulatory compliance (Fire NOC approvals, etc.). Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant design/estimation software is an added advantage.
