Job Description:
  • Tool & Die Design: Spearhead the 2D and 3D design of complex plastic injection moulds, including core, cavity, lifters, and sliding mechanisms, using advanced software.
  • Tooling Development: Oversee in-house tool manufacturing, maintenance, and modification to meet quality and production timelines. 
  • New Product Development (NPD): Work cross-functionally to convert customer requirements into robust manufacturable mould designs.
  • Cost & Quality Optimization: Implement cost-saving designs and ensure the moulds yield parts meeting PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, Morale) targets.
  • Design Validation: Conduct simulations (e.g., Moldflow analysis) to predict defects like shrinkage or warpage before tool production.
Key Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education: B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering. 
  • Experience: 4 to 7 years in plastic component and mould design, preferably within the automotive or white goods sectors. 
  • Software Proficiency: Hands-on expertise in industry-standard software such as CAD/CAM tools, Creo
  • Technical Competence: Deep knowledge of polymer materials, gating systems, cooling circuits, shrinkage, and IATF 16949 quality standards

Major Outputs are Exhaust Systems, Chassis and Frame Assemblies for 2W, 3W, 4W and other Vehicles.
