 Position:          Jr. Executive - R & D

Location:          Mulund - Mumbai

Experience:       3 - 6 Years

Responsibilities:        

• Chemical knowledge.

•  Should be well versed with a standard research lab setup and be able to operate equipment and instruments
•  Should be able to design and setup experiments to achieve chemical transformations.
•  Should be able to carry out synthesis based on precedence and merit of a given pathway.
•  Should be able to predict the outcome of reactions under a given set of conditions.
•  Should be able to come up with alternate routes to synthesize a particular compound (advantage).
•  Should update himself with developments in the scientific community, especially in his/her field of expertise.
•  Structure determination of the organic molecules by interpretation of the IR, NMR, CMR & Mass Spectra including LCMS and GCMS.
•  Should be able to come up with original ideas for dealing with a given problem
•  Problem solving approach Improvement of existing processes for upscale and plant introduction in AID.
•  Technology transfer from Lab to plant Executing Projects in the Lab
•  Should be able to provide intellectual input towards the progress of the project.
•  Should encourage a productive and positive work atmosphere and imbue a strong work ethic.
•  Seamless collaboration within global R&D and related SHK-departments
•  Team working skills combined with good communication (written and oral) and presentation skills Good Lab Practices
•  Keeping lab documentation always up to date
•  Timely submission of research progress reports and process reports.
•  Recording and filing of analytical data chronologically for easy access. Lab Safety
•  Personal use and enforces others to use PPE in the lab
•  Discourage people from working alone or from indulging in activities that deviate from accepted norms
•  Working knowledge of first-aid.

Required Qualification: - M.sc - Chemistry 

Salary: - Upto 5.50 LPA
