Job Profile Summary:

Apart from Corporate Commercial lines of business including Fire & Engineering lines, Liability lines,
Marine, Workmen’s Compensation, Group Health Business.
This will not include individual policies (motor and health)
Strong experience in General Insurance – Commercial Lines business.

Primary responsibilities:

 Achieving business target month on month for every line of business set by the Company
 Responsible for servicing all customers to achieve the objectives assigned to the team according to the Company’s business plans.
 Servicing the current set of brokers / intermediaries managing renewals and getting new business
 Reaching out to new brokers / intermediaries to increase penetration of RQBE in the market
 Meeting service level TAT’s set by the distribution team
 Coordinating with internal teams as and when required
 Meeting clients to increase our market presence
 Maintaining required reports as per company guidelines
 Ensuring that the sourced business is correctly booked
 Coordinating for coinsurance and reinsurance payments
 Proven experience in managing and developing relationships with insurance brokers as a key distribution channel.
 Sound understanding of commercial insurance products, underwriting basics, and market practices.
 Experience working in a broking channel is mandatory.
 Should be comfortable working as an Individual Contributor (IC) and driving business independently.
 Strong business development and relationship management skills with brokers and intermediaries.

Profile of the candidate:

 Total 10+ experience in Bangalore market in sales / marketing department with Insurance companies / key brokers.
 Can be Candidates who are Sales Managers Corporate vertical/ Broking vertical from other GIs 

 Experience with Corporate Agency Channel handling of the above-mentioned private players will also fit.
 Must have established broker network and strong market relationships.
 Experience in mid to large-ticket commercial business preferred.
 Candidates primarily handling Retail, Bancassurance, Agency, or SME Agency channels will not be suitable.
 Candidates focused only on small-ticket SME broking business may not fit the requirement.
