Experience Required

Educational Qualification

• ITI Fitter
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Equivalent Technical Qualification

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble and fit Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Jigs, Fixtures, and Industrial Automation Machines.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering blueprints.
• Perform precision mechanical operations including drilling, tapping, grinding, alignment, and machine fitting.
• Assemble pneumatic cylinders, linear guides, bearings, shafts, couplings, and mechanical components.
• Check machine alignment, dimensions, tolerances, and movement of assembled parts.
• Assist in machine testing, trials, installation, commissioning, and final inspection.
• Identify and rectify mechanical issues during assembly and machine trials.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace according to 5S and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Design, Electrical, Production, and Quality teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Travel to customer locations for machine installation, servicing, and commissioning whenever required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in machine assembly, mechanical fitting, industrial automation equipment, SPM manufacturing, or engineering fabrication. Candidates must be capable of reading engineering drawings and using precision measuring instruments confidently.
