Job Description:

 

Job Overview: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Executive – Sales Accounts Support to manage and streamline our sales accounting, reconciliation, and accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between our sales teams, customer service, and corporate finance, ensuring compliant operations and smooth audit closures.

 

Role: Sr. Executive – Sales Accounts Support

Experience: 4+ years

Education: B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA

Location: Ahmedabad

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Order Processing & Compliance

  • Review and ensure clear processing of Sales Orders (SO), Proforma Invoices (PI), and Dispatch Orders in strict compliance with company policies.

 

AR Management & Reconciliations

  • Perform periodic Customer Ledger Reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Submit updated and accurate ledgers directly to customers and the internal Sales Team.
  • Drive continuous, professional outstanding follow-ups with customers to minimize overdue accounts.

 

ORC & Commission Handling

 

  • Manage end-to-end Overriding Commission (ORC) calculations and data working.
  • Handle ORC invoice collections and smooth processing for authorized payments.

Inter-departmental Coordination & Compliance

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day AR/AP coordination between Customer Service (CS), the Sales Team, and external customers.
  • Arrange and track necessary TDS / TCS declarations from customers.

 

Reporting & Audits

  • Prepare and present regular Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Maintain rigorous records for the Books of Accounts (BOA) for audit readiness.
  • Actively resolve queries raised by internal and external auditors.

 

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

  • Qualifications: B.Com, M.Com, or Inter CA.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of sales accounting processes, book reconciliation, and tax compliances (TDS/TCS).
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication and inter-personal skills to confidently manage B2B clients and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Preference: Candidates with exposure to corporate audits will be highly preferred.
