Job Description:
Position: EHS Officer
Location: Vapi
Experience: 2 - 5 Years
Industries: Pharma
Responsibilities:
- Monitor occupational health risks, workplace hazards, and PPE compliance.
- Develop and maintain emergency response and safety plans.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, fire drills, and mock drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; recommend CAPA.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, permits, and statutory requirements.
- Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and work permit systems.
- Identify fire and chemical hazards and assess associated risks.
- Conduct safety training, safety committee meetings, and ERT training.
- Inspect fire-fighting equipment and process equipment for safety.
- Report unsafe acts/conditions and follow up on corrective actions.
