SUPERVISOR FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - ASANSOL,WESTBENGAL
Job Description:
- Team Management & Scheduling: Create work schedules, delegate daily tasks, and manage shift coverage to maintain operational efficiency.
- Performance Monitoring: Track team productivity against performance metrics, provide constructive feedback, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Training & Coaching: Onboard new hires, teach daily job duties, and provide ongoing mentorship to help employees develop their skills.
- Conflict Resolution: Address workplace disputes, handle customer complaints, and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly and professionally.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the team complies with company policies, legal guidelines, and workplace safety standards.
- Reporting: Document team progress, attendance, and output, then relay this data to senior management.
- Experience: Typically requires 1 to 3 years of frontline leadership or relevant industry experience.
- Education: High school diploma is usually required; a bachelor's degree in business or management is often preferred.
- Leadership: Strong ability to motivate teams, delegate responsibilities, and make confident decisions under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for clearly conveying objectives to staff and reporting updates to managemen.
