About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Head to lead the Human Resources function for a fast-growing garment export organization. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Garment Manufacturing, Apparel Exports, Factory HR, Industrial Relations, Labour Law Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, and Employee Engagement.

This leadership role will be responsible for building HR systems, ensuring statutory compliance, strengthening employee relations, driving organizational development, and supporting factory administration.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Strategy

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.

• Establish HR policies, SOPs, and best practices across the organization.

• Drive organizational development initiatives and workforce planning.

Talent Acquisition

• Lead recruitment across factory, corporate, technical, and leadership roles.

• Develop talent pipelines to support business growth.

• Improve recruitment processes and employer branding.

Employee Engagement & Retention

• Design and implement employee engagement initiatives.

• Improve employee satisfaction and retention.

• Conduct employee feedback programs and engagement surveys.

Performance Management

• Drive the performance appraisal process.

• Implement KPI and performance management frameworks.

• Support leadership development and succession planning.

Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with:

  • Factory Act

  • Labour Laws

  • PF & ESI

  • POSH Act

  • Bonus Act

  • Gratuity Act

  • Contract Labour Act

• Coordinate statutory audits and government inspections.

Payroll & HR Operations

• Supervise payroll processing, attendance, leave management, and employee records.

• Ensure accurate HR documentation and MIS reporting.

Industrial Relations

• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters.

• Maintain healthy industrial relations within the manufacturing unit.

• Resolve workplace disputes effectively.

Learning & Development

• Develop annual training calendars.

• Identify skill gaps and organize technical and behavioural training programs.

• Promote leadership and employee development initiatives.

Administration

• Support factory administration activities.

• Coordinate with administration and facility management teams.

• Ensure smooth functioning of workplace facilities and employee welfare activities.
